A
huge pane of glass in the spectacular Tower Bridge glass walkway has shattered
after a visitor dropped a bottle of beer on it.
The
pane, one of six which make up the see-through floor of 140ft-high viewing
platform, was then reportedly damaged further when a woman walked on it in
stilettos.
The
attraction has only been opened for two weeks, but has attracted rave reviews.
Each
pain of glass is nearly half a tonne in weight is made up of five different
layers.
